- Jacketed vessel is used for heating liquids like fruit pulp,ayurvedic medicine etc, by passing externally generated steam through a sealed “vacuum” system. Kettles are designed according to their constructional features. They are: (a)Tiltable kettle (b) Fixed kettle (c) Fixed kettle with stirrers.
